You receive a non-binding offer for the balcony solar kit, mount and installation – it only becomes binding once you confirm.
Installation date
We agree on a date, mount the panels, bracket and inverter and put the plug-in solar device into operation with you.
Registration
We explain how to register your system in the Marktstammdatenregister – it only takes a few minutes.
What to know before installation
- 800 W feed-in: plug-in solar devices may run with up to 800 W inverter output and up to 2,000 Wp of panel power.
- No electrician: connecting to a normal socket usually does not require an electrician.
- Tenants and owners’ associations: balcony solar is a privileged measure – consent may only be refused for good reason.
- Registration: every balcony solar system must be registered in the Marktstammdatenregister.
- Mounting: panels must be fixed securely – especially on upper floors a suitable bracket is essential.

We are based in Berlin-Mitte (Moabit) and install balcony solar systems across Berlin – for example in Mitte, Moabit, Charlottenburg, Steglitz, Neukölln, Spandau and Pankow. Dates are arranged individually.

What is a plug-in solar device (Steckersolargerät)?
Steckersolargerät is the official German term for a balcony solar system: a small PV system that feeds into your home grid via a socket. Since 2024 simplified rules apply to devices with up to 800 W inverter output and up to 2,000 Wp of panel power – registration in the Marktstammdatenregister is all that is needed.
Do I need an electrician?
Usually not for plug-in solar devices with up to 800 W inverter output – they plug into a normal socket. Registration in the Marktstammdatenregister is still required.
Can I install a balcony solar system as a tenant?
Yes. Since 2024 balcony solar is a “privileged measure” in Germany – landlords may only refuse for good reason. We are happy to help with the request.
